US Natgas Pulls Back from Yesterday's High

US Henry Hub is falling back from recent gains after reaching a high of about 2.38$/mmbtu yesterday.

    • US Natgas MAY 23 down -3.5% at 2.28$/mmbtu
  • Cold weather in central and eastern areas has eased slightly in the latest NOAA outlook while the west maintains the warmer than normal forecast. Domestic demand is today near normal levels at 68.0bcf/d.
  • Natural gas production has remained steady around 100 bcf/d this week compared to around 97bcf/d seen this time last year.
  • Flows to LNG export terminals are today estimated slightly lower at 14.27bcf/d according to Bloomberg with lower supply to Sabine Pass than the start of the week. The pipeline feedgas supplies reached a high of 14.89bcf/d on 17 April.
  • Export flows to Mexico are today estimated at 5.2bcf/d.
