EURO-DOLLAR: US trump tweets that he will be responding to earlier reported
China tariffs later on Friday weighed heavily on the USD, spiked EUR/USD from
around $1.1053 to an eventual high of $1.1135(21-dma $1.1134) with rate holding
firm at writing. Asian traders had earlier reported demand in place into
$1.1050, said to be linked to EUR puts that expire Monday with strikes set from
$1.1050 through to $1.1020 for a total of E3.19bln. Next technical resistance
seen at the Aug15 high of $1.1158. Support now seen from $1.1115 to $1.1100,
stronger into the mentioned $1.1050 level. 
- Position adjustments ahead of the G7 weekend and the UK holiday on Monday seen
adding to the late volatility. 
- Market now awaits US Trump reaction to China tariffs.
