BOND SUMMARY
BOND SUMMARY: - US TSY yields have pushed higher this morning and the curve has
steepened. The 10-year benchmark trades at 3.089% up from 3.063% while the 2s10s
spread has widened to 25.4bps up from 23.6bps.
- JGBs trade in a tight range. Key levels: 2-year -0.118%, 5-year -0.069%,
10-year 0.130%
- German bunds have sold off and the curve has steepened. The 2-year bund trades
at -0.529% from -0.5395% and the 10-year trades at 0.501%. The 2s10s spread has
widened to 102.2bps from 98.9bps.
- The French OAT curve has steepened with the 2s10s spread trading up to
118.3bps from 116.7bps.
- The sell-off in short end BTPs has subsided with the 2-year BTP yield trading
in the middle of the day's range.
- Gilts have sold off, with the longer end underperforming. The 10-year yield
has edged up to 75.3bps from a low of 74.2bps.
- Euro$ are 1.0-4.0 ticks lower. Euribor futures greens/blues down 0.5 ticks.
