USD and US Yields

  • USD is tilting on the offer side in G10, although the currency is pretty much trading flat against the EUR and the SEK.
  • The kiwi is still leading up 0.52%.
  • GBP and Cable is having a peculiar trading session.
  • We initially dipped below that 1.3800 level, where desk noted some decent demand.
  • Cable fully reversed, but is now once again moving lower, as market participants favour fading the up move on Delta variants spikes concerns, with the UK set to fully re open.
  • USD is still holding onto gains vs the Yen, on the back of the small uptick in US yield with some demand (payers) at 1.30%, since we closed the gap yesterday.
