DOLLAR-CANADA: USD/CAD last C$1.3131 (200-DMA), a touch higher on the day, after
climbing 16 pips yesterday, as WTI fell below $54/barrel, amidst news of Russia
lagging behind with fulfilling its output cut commitment to OPEC+ members &
rising U.S. crude inventories, while USD grew in strength in NY hours. 
- Yesterday's peak at C$1.3153 attracts initial topside interest and a jump
above would bring the May 24 2016 high of C$1.3188 into play. Conversely, bears
look for a breach of yesterday's low at C$1.3102 before challenging the lower
Bollinger Band (2%) at C$1.3082. 
- Canadian labour mkt data, due Friday, headlines this week's Canadian docket,
but building permits, due today, may also be of interest. Elsewhere, BoC Dep Gov
Lane will speak later today.
