DOLLAR-CANADA
DOLLAR-CANADA: USD/CAD rallies through earlier highs and breaks the C$1.26
handle, making a solid approach on the 100DMA at $1.2613 in the process. Move
appears driven by renewed USD strength knocking GBP/USD back below the $1.40
level and sharp gains in GBP/CAD. Rate now sits between that 100DMA mark and the
50DMA below at C$1.2578. Rate may also find some resistance at the Dec5 lows of
C$1.2624 before $C$1.2664/66, marking the 61.8% Fib level (C$1.2920-1.2250) and
Nov10 low respectively. Worth noting tomorrow sees the CAD jobs report at
1330GMT.
