USD modestly outperforms all of its G10......>

DOLLAR
DOLLAR: USD modestly outperforms all of its G10 peers save the yen at writing,
amidst renewed risk-off flows. DXY last sits at the 96.00 handle, WTI has moved
a touch lower, while gold trades flat in the Asia-Pac session.
- This comes after DXY climbed 43 pips Tuesday on the back of EUR & GBP
weakness, triggered by ECB Pres Draghi comments highlighting weaker than exp.
ecent econ developments & Brexit matters respectively. Worth mentioning DXY's
ascent was limited by soft U.S. PPI & Empire m'fing prints, as well as Fed's
George support for a pause in interest rate hikes in what marked a change of
tone in her stance (for an MNI piece on George's remarks see MNI Main Wire at
18:15 GMT 01/15).
- DXY bulls look for a move through the nearby 100-DMA at 96.04 and the 21-DMA
at 96.22 before challenging 96.26, where the rate peaked yesterday. Conversely,
bears eye yesterday's low of 95.47, ahead of the 200-DMA at 94.98.
