USDMXN hovers above 19.60, Copom Eagerly Anticipated

MEXICO - Holiday thinned trade saw USDMXN shoot up to 19.97 yesterday before reversing throughout the afternoon. A further strengthening of the USD today sees us back towards recent range lows, hovering above support and the bear trigger at 19.60.


BRAZIL- Optimism surrounding the start of vaccinations appeared to buoy local assets yesterday, despite Estadao reporting that this doesn't necessarily mean the population will be immunized any time soon; citing concerns that local manufacturing of the jabs may be delayed due to the lack of imported raw materials.
