Venezuela To Ship 2.24mbbls of Crude to US This Month

Chevron is set to export approximately 2.24mbbl of heavy Venezuelan crude oil to the US this month according to Bloomberg sources and shipping data.

  • Last week Chevron discharged the first exports of Venezuelan oil to the US since 2019 at the Pascagoula, Mississippi, oil refinery. Two more ships are lined up to send Venezuelan crude to the US bringing the total loadings for this month to six cargoes.
  • Aframax Caribbean Voyager is ready to load 500kbbl of Merey 16 from the Jose offshore platform and the Aframax Amalthea is waiting to load 250kbbl of Boscan crude at the Bajo Grade oil terminal.
