Venezuelan Exports Dip in July

A total of 29 vessels departed Venezuela in July carrying 460,323 bpd of crude and refined products and 252,000 metric tonnes of petroleum coke and methanol, according to Refinitiv data.

  • The figures correspond to a 27% fall from the previous month and a 38% decline versus July 2021.
  • Flows from Venezuela were hit by power outages and a gas pipe explosion in July which cut services to blending facilities. The majority of July’s flows were bound for China.
