Voters Have Low Confidence In Banks And Financial Institutions

US

The Associated Press has published a report showing that: “In the wake of the recent turmoil in the banking industry, only 10% of the public has a great deal of confidence in the nation’s banks and financial institutions, and 56% say the government is not doing enough to regulate the industry.”

  • AP: “Trust in the banking industry declined since 2020, when 22% said they had a great deal of confidence in the people running it. The lack of confidence is bipartisan. Only 10% of Democrats and 8% of Republicans have a great deal of confidence in banks.”
