KIWI
KIWI: Weaker-than expected NZ jobs data has seen the flightless bird drop from
around $0.7470 to $0.7420. While the unemployment rate dropped 4.8%, a 8 1/2
year low, employment change came in at -0.2% q/q against expectations of +0.7%
q/q. Given the large build up on longs as indicated by CFTC data, local traders
expect the kiwi to remain under pressure as stale longs cash in profits.
Support is now seen at $0.7380 (50% fib $0.7202-$0.7558). Kiwi was last at
$0.7423.
