JGB futures softened again during the Tokyo morning, edging towards the lower bound of their overnight range as global core FI traded defensively, hitting the bell -11 vs. settlement. There was some modest weakening across most of the cash JGB curve, while longer dated swap spreads widened, exacerbating the downward pressure on the space.
