ASIA
ASIA: Wednesday saw Bank of America Research note that "despite the ongoing
risk-on, the flow picture in EM Asia ex-China hasn't improved much, especially
in equities. Overall aggregate outflows from Asia ex-China equities and bonds
are now much more than the outflows seen during the GFC. Equity outflows,
particularly from Korea and Taiwan, have been very strong even as Indian
equities are now witnessing inflows. In bonds, Korea has by far been the biggest
beneficiary. While Indonesia bonds are now starting to see inflows, foreign
money continues to flee Indian bonds."
