Canada with an ultimatum & summoned a U.S. ambassador to protest the matter),
coupled with a soft breakdown in the latest round of Chinese trade data weighed
on risk assets from the get go in Asia, with the region also playing catch up to
a soft wall St. session on Friday.
- The Nikkei 225 last trades 2.2% lower, while the Hang Seng is 1.4% worse off,
the CSI 300 is 1.2% lower & the ASX 200 trades 2.2% softer.
- U.S. equity index futures trade just off of worst levels at writing.
