US DATA REACT: Wells Fargo points out on the very big drop in Continuing Claims
in today's report: "three states posted abnormally large drops in continuing
claims - Florida fell by 76%, California fell by 40% and Washingston State fell
by 40%. These outsized drops accounted for more than 90% of the national
decline. It's true of course that Florida and California are large, but the
fourth largest percentage decline was only 12% (Ohio). The data are challenging
to interpret, but there was no explanation offered by the Labor Department."
