WTI Net Longs Increase to Highest Since July

Managed money net long positions in Nymex WTI increased to the highest since July in the delayed commitment of traders data released yesterday. The increase follows a similar move in ICE Brent data from Friday. Net long positioning for Nymex diesel and gasoline also both increased slightly.

  • Nymex WTI net longs increased by +16k to 214k.
  • Nymex diesel increased by +4k to 30k.
  • Nymex gasoline fell by +7k to 61k.
