Yields Move Higher On Powell's Speech

TYH4 is trading at 111-09, - 11+ from NY closing levels.
Futures have continued their move lower in early morning Asia trading, Fed Chair Powell has been speaking on 60 Minutes in a pre-recorded interview, mentioning that there needs to be more disinflation evidence to cut rates, futures and continuing their move lower.

  • Mar'24 10Y futures ended the week lower to close at 111-22, and we currently trade at 111-09+. We are now trading below first technical support from Fridays lows of 111-16 with the next support at 110-26 Jan 19 low and a bear trigger.
  • Cash yields are opening trading 4-8bps higher, the 2Y yield is 7.0bps higher at 4.432%, while the 10Y yield is 5.9bps higher at 4.077%. Curves remain flatter but still off their lows: 2s10s -3.3 at -35.2, (Friday Lows -40.198)
  • Data Tonight: ISM Non-Manufacturing, PMI while Atlanta Fed's Raphael Bostic speaks.
