- Germany will come to the market today for the first reopening of the 0% Aug-30 Green Bund.
- On offer will be E1.5bln of the 0% Aug-30 Green Bund. ISIN: DE0001030708.
- Auction history:
- The 0% Aug-30 Green Bund was launched as a 10-year issue via syndication on September 2, 2020, issuing E6.5bln at an average yield of -0.463%.
- Despite the Aug-30 Green Bund having not been reopened until today, the 0% Aug-31 Green Bund was launched via syndication one year later on September 8, 2021, for a smaller nominal of E3.5bln (E3.198bln allotted). This launch resulted in an average yield of -0.380% and bid-to-offer of 1.14x (the bid-to-cover was 1.05x).
- The 0% Aug-31 Green Bund was then reopened once on October 20 last year. This was a particularly weak auction, with E3.0bln issued of which E1.649bln was allotted. The average yield was -0.160% and the bid-to-offer was 1.08x. The auction was technically uncovered at a 0.59x bid-to-cover.
