  • The committee is likely to deliver an 11-11 split on the vote, necessitating a senate vote on discharging Jackson's nomination from the committee. A final vote in the full Senate is likely to take place on Thursday or Friday.
  • Jackson's confirmation is likely to pass with a narrow bipartisan vote: Senator Susan Collins (R-ME) has indicated that she will vote for Jackson.
