JGBS: A limited morning session for futures, outside of the early dip lower, saw
the contract enter the lunchbreak 10 ticks below settlement levels. As we
mentioned earlier, perhaps participants see little chance of any meaningful
surprises from the BoJ on the easing side in the wake of the Nikkei source
report run last week, although moves were limited.
- Cash trade sees 7s underperform (in line with a futures driven move), while
outperformance has been seen in 20s and 30s.
- Swap spreads mixed across the curve.
