AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: A limited SFE session for the space with light flattening of the
curve at the fore after the recent run of steepening. YM +2.0, with XM +4.0,
leaving YM/XM at 33.5 and the cash equivalent at 30.7bp.
- 3-Year futures are seemingly unwilling to extend thru recent highs in the
absence of a fresh domestic catalyst (for now), although such a move could
possibly come on the back of today's U.S. ISM non-m'fing print, if it
disappoints.
- Bills sit unchanged to 4 ticks higher through the reds.
- Local trade balance data had little impact on the space today, while retail
sales and the AOFM's weekly issuance schedule are set to headline tomorrow's
docket.
