STERLING: A spike in Eur/Gbp through the reported Gbp0.8950 barrier has seen a
sharp pullback in cable off earlier traded highs of $1.3817 to $1.3760. The
cross is quick to pare gains and drifts to the Gbp0.8930/35 area as markets
remain nervous ahead of PM May's Brexit speech at 1330GMT.
