US TSYS: A tight re-open for T-Notes, +0-00+ at 128-29 at writing.
- Contract went out hear the top of a relatively tight range on Thursday, after
a week dominated by geopolitical matters, awaiting Friday's NFP print. Fresh
threats out of Iran did little to move the needle, with Fedspeak also offering
little in the way of notable catalysts to trade off.
- Curve bull flattened on the day come the close, with a strong 30-Year auction
helping support a bid in the longer end of the curve, with the 5-/30-Year spread
pulling back from the 70bp region as a result. The auction stopped through by
1.7bp, as the cover ratio edged higher and dealer participation held at below
recent average levels.
- The deluge of new year corporate issuance continues.
- The aforementioned labour market report headlines Friday's docket.
