Futures operate a touch above late overnight levels at the Sydney re-open, after tracking wider gyrations observed in core global FI markets during post-Sydney dealing, leaving YM +3.5 (after a blip lower) and XM +4.5, shy of their respective overnight highs. Bills run 1-6 richer through the reds, bull flattening.

  • Looking ahead, the release of the RBA’s SoMP (with focus on the rate cash rate assumptions embedded in the RBA profile given the fact that the major changes to the economic projections have already been flagged), A$700mn of ACGB Apr-27 supply and the release of the weekly AOFM issuance slate provide the highlights of Friday’s domestic docket.
