AUSSIE BONDS
AUSSIE BONDS: A very sedate Sydney session for Aussie bond futures. YM
unchanged, XM -3.5 at typing, with the latter extending a little through SYCOM
lows ahead of tomorrow's ACGB '32 supply, promoting some modest steepening of
the curve.
- Weekend news flow focused on the marginal loosening of social distancing rules
in both Queensland and Western Australia, with some suggesting that PM
Morrison's latest round of comments point to a degree of optimism re: a quicker
re-opening than was previously envisaged.
- Elsewhere, expectations re: the opening of the trans-Tasman borders continue
to build.
- Bills sit unchanged to 1 tick lower through the reds.
- A reminder that regional holidays in ACT & Western Australia (for ANZAC Day)
may have drained some liquidity from market.
