Aluminium Exports to EU Jump Over Fears of Fresh Incoming Sanctions

  • Russian exports of unprocessed aluminium to EU countries jumped 66% month-on-month to 26,253 tonnes in January, Eurostat data showed. According to Vedomosti, experts attribute the surge to European traders increasing imports from Russia due to fears of new sanctions that could hit Russian aluminium.
