ARGENTINA: Caputo Says $20.1bn Deposited Under Tax Amnesty Programme

Caputo said that $2.4bn in other assets had also been declared as the first phase of the programme ended on Friday.
  • On the data front this week, focus will be on October CPI figures, which are due tomorrow. Analysts see monthly inflation moderating further to 3.0% last month, from 3.5% m/m in September. Budget balance numbers for October will also be published on Friday.
  • Separately, President Milei will travel to the US for a two-day visit on Thursday to attend a conservative forum and meet with US President elect Donald Trump, according to a report in La Nacion, citing government sources.
