AUSSIE: AUD/JPY has shed 2 pips & last trades at Y77.75, just above the 21-DMA
of Y77.71, with AUD underperforming all of its G10 peers in the aftermath of
yesterday's NAB variable mortgage rates hike & hawkish comments re: trade talks
with China from the U.S. Commerce Sec Ross, although Ross attempted to walk
these comments back later on Thursday.
- Initial support noted at the Jan 9 low of Y77.40, ahead of the Jan 8 low at
Y77.30. Initial topside focus falls on the psychological Y78.00 level and a jump
above would open up yesterday's high of Y78.54.
