AUD/USD is at session lows, currently hovering just under 0.6480. The pair is now around 0.75% off late NY session highs. Broad based USD gains since the open have weighed. Regional equities are in the green, but are away from best levels. US futures are lower (-0.30%-0.50% at this stage). Commodities are mixed, with oil and copper slightly down, but iron ore back to a $97/tonne handle.
- Earlier data on job vacancies dipping and an ABS update on the new monthly CPI indicator didn't shift sentiment.
