AUSSIE BONDS: Aussie Bond futures have followed the ebb & flow of the broader
risk backdrop, with the contracts sticking to tight ranges. There are various AU
state holidays in play, which probably contributed to the dearth of domestic
news flow.
- YM -1.0 tick, XM unchanged, while YM/XM trades at 42.25. The cash equivalent
deals at 43.3bp, with the AU/U.S. 10-Year yield spread at -61.4bp.
- Bills trade 1 tick lower to 1 tick higher through the reds. 8-day RBA repo ops
saw A$1.375bn dealt at an average of 1.684%.
- The local docket will pick up again tomorrow, with housing finance data and
the latest NAB business survey due, while RBA Deputy Governor Debelle is
scheduled to speak (topic: Climate Change and the Economy).
