  • Retail trade rose 5.2% compared with October 2020, accelerating from the previous 1.7% y/y gain.
  • Food retailing fell 0.5% (-$64.0m) in October
  • Household goods retailing rose 4.5% ($247.2m) in October.
  • Clothing, footwear and personal accessory retailing rose 27.7% ($481.7m) in October.
  • Department stores rose 22.4% ($277.8m) in October.
  • Other retailing rose 2.2% ($106.6m) in October.
