US TSYS/RESEARCH: BA/ML chief FICC technical strategist Paul Ciana said on cash
5-year note technicals that the U.S. 5-year note yield "is breaking down through
the one-year trendline support at 1.7850%. Friday's close will be important to
confirm it. This could be another breakdown that supports our technical view
that rates are at risk for another decline." (The cash 5-year note is at 1.746%
currently.)
