UK: Ballot opens for voting on next Speaker of the House of Commons. Ballot will
be open for 20 mins, through until around 1530GMT, with another 45 mins for
votes to be counted, going through until around 1620GMT.
- If no candidate receives more than 50% of the vote any candidates with less
than 5% of the vote are eliminated. 
- 7 candidates standing, with deputy speakers Sir Lindsay Hoyle (Labour) and
Dame Eleanor Laing (Conservative) seen as favourites. However, unlike other
parliamentary votes it is a secret ballot so could be difficult to call. 
- Subsequent rounds of voting could take the process into the early evening.
