BanRep Governor and Finance Minister To Present Report To Congress

  • Today, central bank Governor Leonardo Villar, and Finance Minister Ricardo Bonilla are scheduled to present a central bank report on reforms to a Lower House committee. Additionally, Bonilla and the Minister of Labor are scheduled to speak in the same committee to discuss the impacts of the labor and pension reforms on employment, the business ecosystem and the nation’s public finances.
  • President Gustavo Petro arrives in Brazil for a summit of South American presidents and will later hold a meeting with his counterpart Luis Inacio Lula da Silva.
