BBDXY Back Towards Tuesday Highs On Yield Differentials & E-Mini Downtick

USD

Asia-Pac activity in G10 FX was somewhere between 10-15% below the recent norms, per several trading desks.

  • The USD finds itself at the top of the G10 FX performance table as yield differentials move more in the greenback’s favour (aided by some block selling in UXY futures).
  • A light downtick in e-minis will have also aided the USD.
  • This has allowed the BBDXY to move to fresh session highs in recent dealing as bulls eye yesterday’s peak as the first point of technical interest.
