BCCh President Sees Short-Term Impact From Peso Slide

CHILE
  • Earlier on Tuesday, Reuters reported that Chile's central bank expects that the recent depreciation of CLP will only have a short-term effect on prices, according to the BCCh governor Rosanna Costa speaking on Tuesday.

  • This was Costa’s first interview to international press since Chile's peso reached a near eleven month low of around 925/USD.
