Biden Admin Scores Highly In COVID, Sinks In Foreign Policy/Economy

According to the latest government approval report from Redfield and Wilton Strategies the Biden administration has seen a significant drop in approval in most metric during the first two weeks of May.

  • The 'pandemic' and 'education' are the only two positive policy areas. The 'economy' and 'relations with China' score the lowest levels of approval.
  • President Biden is currently on a four-day tour of East Asia and the White House will be hoping that the a strong performance reinforcing bilateral relationships with Japan and the Republic of Korea can strengthen the optics of his administration's foreign policy.

    • The Pandemic +13% (+3)
    • Education 3% (-1)
    • The Environment -1% (-4)
    • Healthcare -1% (-6)
    • Relations with Russia -8% (-9)
    • The Economy -10% (-3)
    • Relations with China -11% (-7)
