CEMEA Rates Snapshot: SAGB 10Y Breaks Key Support, Turkey Lags

EMERGING MARKETS
  • SAGBs lead the way firmer today as key supports give way. OFZs regain some composure, while TurkGBs lag behind
  • SA: Yields lower across the curve with a bull flattening bias. 10Y (-2.8bp) seems to have made a consolidated break below 9.20 after lagging behind 15 & 30Y tenors.
  • RUSSIA: Curve trades bull flatter with gains concentrated in the OFZ 7-10y tenors (-4bp), which is now back below the 7.00 handle.
  • TURKEY: TurkGBs lagging the trend today, idling in around the open after a number of consecutive sessions of gains. Possible nerves setting in ahead of CPI due next week that could bring the CBRT to a tipping point if headline rises above 19.00%.

  • SAGB 10Y
