China Diesel Stocks Rise to Highest Since July 2022: OilChem

Diesel inventories in China increased by 1.6% w/w to 17.03m tons in the week to 24 Aug according to OilChem data. Inventories are now the highest level since July 2022.

  • China’s gasoline stockpiles rose to the highest level in eight weeks by 0.8% w/w to 13.08m tons.
  • China’s state-owned refineries kept runs unchanged at 81.72% of capacity and still at the highest level since November 2021 according to Bloomberg based on OilChem data.
  • Teapots in Shandong province cut runs to the lowest level since July 21 by 0.87 ppt to 61.9%.
