China’s Apparent Oil Demand Fell in October to 14.871mbpd

China’s apparent oil demand – oil processing volumes and net imports of refined petroleum oil - in October fell to 14.871mbpd, down from 15.239mbpd in September, NBS data compiled Bloomberg showed.

  • Consumption stood 10.93% above 2022 levels, the lowest year-on-year increase so far this year.
  • Apparent oil demand in the first ten months of this year averaged 14.58mbpd, up by 12.76% on the year.
