CHINA STOCKS: Chinese stocks are lower across the board as the outlook over the
past 24 hours has deteriorated significantly. The Shenzhen composite is leading
the decline, shedding 2% on the day, resuming its broader bearish trend.

- For the Hang Seng, prior range highs around 27300 are now acting as support as
the index edged down 0.65%.
- The Chinext is down another 1.5% as it breaks below short term range lows,
with comments from policymakers reiterating their support for SMEs and their aim
to cut the negative list for inward investment failing to provide any relief.
