CHINA STOCKS
CHINA STOCKS: Chinese stocks have recovered early losses to trade higher on the
day, with the CSI300 flirting with the 3200 level and the Hang Seng holding
Monday's lows to recover the 27600 level to shift the focus to the 200dma at
27844.
- The Chinext continues is up 2% on the day holding above up trendline support
from the Oct 22 lows.
- Stocks continue to shrug off cautious headlines re trade talks as well as
rising fears over growth, with the latest provincial growth rate cuts failing to
dent sentiment.
- The ongoing strength in the yuan is providing room for the PBOC to continue
easing which should support stocks. Also worth noting that margin balances
continue to decline which should be seen as a contrarian bullish indicator.
