  • Narrow ranges persisted yesterday with NZD/USD unable to break recent ranges.
  • The pair dealt in a $0.6205/50 range through the session. Improving risk sentiment, as US Real Yields fell, through the NY session saw NZD/USD recover off session lows to deal at current levels.
  • Technically the pair is consolidating, bulls first target 200-Day EMA at $0.6291. Bears target a break of $0.6191, 30 Nov low, opening $0.5985 the low from Nov 11.
  • AUD/NZD was ~0.1%, last printing $1.0925/35. The cross sits a touch above the 200-Day EMA ($1.0919).
  • Cross asset flows showed a mild risk on tone, S&P500 was up 0.5% and DXY was marginally softer. 10 Year US Treasury Yields were ~3bps softer.
