Consumer Confidence Continues To Fall In November

CZECHIA
  • Economic data showed this morning that consumer confidence fell to -16 in November, its lowest level since March 2021, confirming the deceleration in the economic activity.
  • The new restrictions imposed by the government to limit the downside risk of a fourth wave of infections should lead to a significant downward revision in growth expectations.
  • In addition, the sharp increase in ST rates is also pricing in a significant deceleration in the economic activity.
  • The five political parties set to create the new coalition government will present their strategy for the coronavirus pandemic this morning (BBG). PM nominee Fiala mentioned that the incoming governments will not close schools and wants PCR tests as Covid certificates.
