Core FI Cheapens As Asia-Pac Equities Rally

E-minis have nudged higher, while Chinese A50 index futures have held on to their overnight rally. The uptick in e-minis, coupled with a rally in the major Asia-Pac equity benchmarks as regional indices play catch up to the overnight bid on Wall St., has seemingly applied some light pressure to core bond markets.

  • Regional reaction to the PBoC’s announcement of a RRR cut will be eyed in Asia, with Chinese trade balance data set to play second fiddle (it hasn’t really been much of a broader sentiment mover in recent months).
