CHINA: Data published over the weekend showed China's foreign-exchange reserves
rose in December for the 11th month, increasing by $20.67 billion to $3.14
trillion, according to data from the People's Bank of China.
- The size of December's increase was larger than November's, which was $10.06
billion.
- The foreign-exchange reserves in December were at the highest level since
September of 2016.
