Denmark Undergoing Security Inspections of Subsea Pipes

Denmark is inspecting its subsea pipelines in the wake of the Nord Stream damage but has not found any irregularities so far according to gas grid operator Energinet.

  • The review of all Danish pipelines, which is carried out by specialist vessels, is expected to be completed this week with results known by the start of November.
  • Denmark is monitoring its pipelines for any pressure drops that could indicate they have been damaged.
  • Norway and Belgium have carried out similar inspections.
