FOREX
FOREX: Despite equity markets opening at or close to all time highs, currencies
have flatlined since the US crossover, with the greenback still nursing losses
while NZD, AUD and GBP are the net beneficiaries. Newsflow and headlines have
been few and far between with no data releases of which to speak. As such, focus
remains on the larger releases ahead of New Year's Eve, with MNI Chicago PMI the
key headline. Option expiries due to roll off close to market today in both
EUR/USD and USD/JPY have also stemmed much movement in the major pairs.
