DPR Reports Fighter Death, LPR Steps Up Military Mobilisation

UKRAINE

RIA Novosti reports that the Donetsk People's Republic claims that one of their fighters has died in an attack by Ukraine's military, with two other militants wounded. The Luhansk People's Republic earlier reported two civillian deaths, while its leadership announced voluntary mobilisation of men over 55 years old. Reminder that the LPR began general conscription of men aged 18-55 last Friday along the evacuation of women and children.

  • In their daily morning briefing, the headquarters of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) reported 80 violations of ceasefire agreements by Donbas separatists over the last 24h, with 72 involving the use of weapons prohibited by the Minsk agreements. There were no deaths among Ukrainian troops, with one soldier wounded.
